AMTC is just like IMTA, IPOP, Proscout etc. in that it's one of those overpriced conventions where wannabe actors go in hopes of "getting discovered." The reality is you WON'T unless you're: 1. The BEST actor 2. The MOST photogenic 3. VERY wealthy If you're not one of those, then you're one of the 500-1000 people who leave $800 POORER. Yes, agents and casting directors come to these conventions. However, they are PAID to come. They're usually paid $5000 plus flight and room covered.
